Perpetua - Katie Slater

Katie read English and French at the University of Nottingham before starting at Trinity College of Music, studying singing with Ameral Gunson.  She has recently gained a Masters with Distinction, and was the recipient of the Cordelia Moses Scholarship.  Operatic highlights include Dorabella (Cosi Fan Tutte) with Hampstead Garden Opera, Olga (Eugene Onegin) with Blackheath Opera, Hansel (Hansel and Gretel) at the Kings Head Theatre, Mad Margaret (Ruddigore) at Buxton Opera House, and this summer she enjoyed playing a Sprite in Opera Holland Park’s Fantastic Mr Fox.  Forthcoming engagements include The Messenger (Cover) in Orfeo with Silent Opera. Katie is delighted to be performing Perpetua with Cantata Dramatica.


Saturus - Thomas Drew

Thomas Drew is from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. He is a former head chorister at Grimsby Minster. He studied at the Junior Royal Academy of Music obtaining his ABRSM piano diploma. He studies singing with John Wakefield at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and is aTCMTrust Scholar at the Old Royal Naval College Chapel. Thomas also studies violin with Mayumi Fujikawa. Last year he sang the role Nemorino, in L’elisir D’amore with Puzzle Piece Opera. He has toured with the Rodolfus Choir and successfully auditioned for Genesis 16. Recently he has taken part in a masterclass with James Gilchrist.
